These videos of dust storms in the U.S. are becoming much more common. The latest storm was this past Monday in Lubbock, TX. Comparisons are being made to the 1930s.

Wow, lots of dust and dirt. I wonder what impact this has on the storm water systems, with the dirt and sand potentially clogging the drains. I would expect air quality would also be impacted for many days after the storm with the lingering dust.
